                               RESOLUTION NO. 20763
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
                  CONVEYANCE FROM THE CHATTANOOGA HOUSING
                  AUTHORITY TO THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA OF THE
                  900 BLOCK OF MARKET STREET SUBJECT TO AN
                  INDEMNITY, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
                  OPTION AGREEMENT WITH THE CHATTANOOGA-HAMILTON
                  COUNTY REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY,
                  SUBJECT TO A SATISFACTORY PHASE II
                  ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY, AND AUTHORIZING THE
                  EXPENDITURE OF NECESSARY FUNDS RELATIVE
                  THERETO.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       acceptance of a conveyance from the Chattanooga Housing Authority 

       to the City of Chattanooga of the 900 Block of Market Street
       subject to an indemnity, the execution of an Option Agreement 
with
       the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Transportation 
Authority,
       subject to a satisfactory Phase II Environmental Study, and
       authorizing the expenditure of necessary funds from the
       Contingency Fund relative thereto.
